Donald’s approval rating is low because there’s no one in his orbit who would protect him from his own worst enemy; himself. Trump has always been protected by people smarter than him. There was always someone around to save him from himself.
That’s not the case anymore.
Sure, the people surrounding the village idiot are smarter than he is. It’s a pretty low bar. But, they’re comedically sycophantic. They’re corrupt, ignorant, clueless, immoral, emotionally unstable, ambitious and ignorant. Like Donald, they’re transactional. They’re in it for themselves. They’re in it for the title and the power.
None of these weirdos could have ever achieved a White House job if the nation hadn’t elected an insecure, pretend alpha male moron.
Trump is completely surrounded by a confederacy of yes men. For the first time in his political life, there’s no one courageous enough to tell him “no”.
Of course, that’s bad for the country. Donald’s an idiot and now the country has devolved into an idiocracy.
On the other hand, this is really bad for Donald. Everything he does is asinine. We all suffer from every asinine thing that he does. We don’t like it.
When pollsters as us what we think of this asinine buffoon, we tell them.
Trump’s approval rating will continue to go down. He’s incapable of getting better or of doing things differently.
In the short term, that’s bad for the country, bad for the world and bad for us. In the long term, that’s good for our democracy. He is and will be America’s most prolific failure.
