A quick rundown of the madness I’m tracking today.

• Just over an hour ago, the village idiot took to Truth Social to boast about ordering yet another illegal assassination at sea — his fifth one. He claimed the targeted boat was “affiliated with a Designated Terrorist Organization,” and added, “The strike was conducted in International Waters, and six male narcoterrorists aboard the vessel were killed in the strike. No U.S. Forces were harmed.”

• Politico dropped a stunning report today exposing thousands of vile Telegram messages from leaders of young Republican groups. The private chats were filled with racism, misogyny, and antisemitism — a window into a culture that’s as toxic as it is revealing. Republican lawmakers scrambled to distance themselves once the story broke, but not a single one took responsibility for having radicalized these young people in the first place.

• The village idiot declared today that if Hamas doesn’t disarm, “we will disarm them.” So far, Hamas has returned only four of the alleged 28 bodies of hostages. Meanwhile, Meidas Touch reports that Israel is cutting Gaza’s aid in half, that Hamas is reasserting control through violent crackdowns on opposition groups, and that Hamas claims Israel killed six Palestinians who crossed a yellow line. Everyone hopes the bloodshed will finally end — but when the so-called peacemakers seem more obsessed with photo-ops, back-pats, and victory tours, the real work of negotiating and enforcing peace becomes little more than a sideshow.
