As pro-democracy constitutients we’ve had to be the adults in the country.
Each day a self loathing, 79 year old toddler-President breaks things.
Then, the addicts, the grifters, the sexual abusers, the weirdos and the incompetents in and around the White House encourage him to break more things.
Then, impotent GOP Senators and Congress members thank him for breaking things. Then they ask him for permission to break things themselves.
We, the grown ups, don’t get a break. The stakes are too high. We have to keep the nation afloat.
We don’t get to act like children…except…..when Donald and Elon start fighting.
These glorious moments have been few and far between. But, when they happen, we can and should regress to our least mature selves.
We should egg the two of them on. We should encourage them to go after each another. “Social media fight, fight, fight!”
We should tell Donald that Elon said mean things about Mar a Lago. And, we should tell Elon that Donald said, “He only makes rockets because he has a little dick.”
We’ve earned these moments, hours (hopefully days) of pre-teen levity.
Hopefully, Donald is watching Fox News right now and someone on the network is talking about how mean Elon is.
